June and July are a blur in my mind. I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way. People are weary. Weary of the seesaw pandemic. The fires. The floods. The riots. Injustices. Etc. But before we get too depressed, I’ll add a line about all the little miracles, the do-gooders, the random acts of kindness, the people who go out of their way to make other people’s day brighter – they are also part of the chaos and the mess. These people and moments of light shine all the brighter during days like cracked tiles, days like shuttered doors.
